We collect only what we need to send you your order and look after you as a customer. Here’s what that means in practice.

Who we are and how to contact us

Sanctuary Gallery is operated by Sanctuary Gallery Hahndorf (ABN 62 863 872 798), Shop 2/56 Mount Barker Road, Hahndorf SA 5245.

What we collect, and how

• When you buy online: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and the details of your order. You enter these on Square’s secure checkout page.
• Payment details: your card details go directly to Square. We never see or store your full card number.
• When you contact us: whatever you choose to include in your email or message.
• When you visit the website: the website itself doesn’t ask for any personal information. Like all websites, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, briefly processes basic technical details such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the site and protect it from misuse. We don’t use these to identify you.

Why we collect it and how we use it

We use your information to process and deliver your order, keep you updated about it, handle returns and questions, and keep the records the law requires, such as tax records. We won’t use your details for anything else without asking you first.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the services that help us run the business, and only as much as each one needs:

• Square, which processes payments and holds order records.
• Australia Post, which receives your name, delivery address and contact details so it can deliver your parcel.
• Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the website.
• Our accountant or other professional advisers, where needed.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We never sell your personal information.

Sending information overseas

Some of these services may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States.

Cookies, browser storage and analytics

Our website doesn’t set its own cookies. Your shopping cart is saved in your browser’s storage on your own device. It holds only which prints you’ve chosen and how many, no personal information, and it clears once you complete your order. You can also clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Square’s checkout page uses its own cookies, as described in Square’s privacy notice.

We don’t currently use analytics. If we add them, we’ll update this policy first.

Our mailing list

We don’t currently send a newsletter. If we start one, we’ll only add you if you ask us to, every email will include an unsubscribe link, and we’ll update this policy first.

Keeping your information safe

We use established, secure services for payments, orders and the website, and we limit access to our own business records. We keep order records for as long as tax law requires, generally five years, and then delete them.

Seeing and correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Contact us and we’ll respond within 30 days.

Questions and complaints

If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date below shows when it last changed.
